- Right click on the speaker icon in the bottom right-hand corner of the screen
- Select "Open Sound settings"
- Select "Device properties" under the Output section
- Select "Additional device properties"
- Under the "Advanced" tab, uncheck the boxes next to "Allow hardware acceleration of audio with this device" and "Enable audio enhancements" (if present)
- Apply > OK
- Repeat these steps for each audio output device experiencing issues
