Remote Control Greyed-Out

1. Log into GoToAssist (https://get.gotoassist.com/)


2. Click on "Start Session" and then provide the support URL to the User


3. Once the session starts, click on Tools > Upgrade as a Service, and then enter the local civic.adm credentials in the window that appears (Computername\civic.adm)


4. Uninstall the following N-Central Programs on the user's device:

   - Ecosystem Agent

   - File Cache Service Agent

   - Patch Management Service Controller

   - Request Handler Agent

   - Windows Agent


5. Delete the computer from N-Central

   - Locate the device

   - Check the checkbox next to the device name

   - Press Delete

   - Make sure "Completely remove device from the system." and "Uninstall Local Agent" are checked

   - Press OK


6. Navigate to \\rb-deploy1.titan.local\deployment$\Software\Solarwinds\ENT RMM and copy the latest version of WindowsAgentSetup to either the user's Desktop or Temp folder


7. Install the software from the location you copied it to


*Please allow for up to 10 minutes to N-Central to detect the device and the remote option to appear
