User Password Change Procedure

There are two options for a user to be able to change their password.

Option 1 (User’s password must not be expired)

• Connect to the VPN.
• Press Ctrl + Alt +Delete
• Click “Change a password”
• The user will be prompted to put their old password and the new password.
• Enter the new password again to verify.
• Click OK.

Option 2 

• Go to this website: https://account.activedirectory.windowsazure.com/ChangePassword.aspx
• Log in to the Microsoft account.
• Make sure that the User ID is correct.
• Type the Old password.
• Type the new password and confirm.
• Click Submit.
• The password used to log in to the laptop must match the new password.
  1. Connect to the VPN. Use the new password.
  2. Lock the computer (Windows Key + L)
  3. Log in with the new password.
  4. The password for the laptop has been updated.

Microsoft Office will shortly ask for the new password.
